It has been a year since the introduction of Civil Parking Enforcement (off-street) across the Districts and the purpose of this report is to ensure that Members are kept informed of its performance.
It was RESOLVED: -
1.1 That the contents of the report be noted.
1.2 That a Civil Parking Enforcement (off street) report be produced annually each year going forward.
1.3 That the Assistant Director for Environment and Commercial Partnerships requests an on-street parking report from Suffolk County Council and produces a report to be presented to Cabinet.
REASON FOR DECISION
To ensure that Members and the public are kept informed of the performance of the Civil Parking Enforcement function.
Alternative Options Considered and Rejected:
To not provide an update on performance for the first year of Civil Parking Enforcement (off street) – this option was not taken up, due to the clear need for keeping Members informed.
