The Suffolk Waste Partnership is a strategic partnership between the local authorities in Suffolk who continuously work together to improve waste management services throughout the county. The Partnership created a Joint Municipal Waste Management Strategy in 2003 which originally contained 17 policies that set out the strategic framework for the management of municipal waste across Suffolk. The Partnership’s main aim is to minimise levels of waste generated and to manage waste in ways that are environmentally, economically, and socially sustainable.
